The Holywood precursor to ‘Enthiran’?
The Holywood precursor to ‘Enthiran’?
A science fiction of fantastic imagination said to be based on Isac
Asimov’s stories.
Three laws of Robotics framed by Asimov form the key fabric
of the story line.
They are,
1. Robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to
come to harm.
2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such
orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict
with the First or Second Laws.

The important character Dr. Susan Calvin, a ‘Robopsychologist’ (!) is said to be a make of Isac Asimov himself.
Robotics becoming far advanced to the extent of supplanting [supporting?] humans in day to day life in 2035!
It is the time when the robots started sniffing into the
arena of human emotions too, an R&D scientist belongs to a monopoly
corporate giant, manufacturing robots is murdered and the basic rules governing
robotics become shaky.
The techno phobic [ more precisely Robotophobic ?] Police
detective, [Will Smith] suspects the hands of a deviant robot that he meets in the lab of the
murdered scientist.
A humanoid robot is suspected to have committed homicide!
There erupts an unprecedent legal quanundrum, entangleing
both the influencial company and the
Investigating team, pushing the future of technological innovation vis a
vis the human race to the cross roads.
Will Smith enchants with his performance as a youthful,
agile and energetic detective. In his poker face with juxtaposing reflexive actions, he somewhat resembles my favourite action hero Jean claude
van damme.
