Thegidi:.

What a neat movie!
Realistic characterization!
Story moves on an urban plane and in an elite milieu.
Standard operating modes of detective surveillance and criminal investigation are casually told.
Keen observation is the ‘only’ difference that makes out a Sherlock Holmes as claimed by Holmes himself to his companion Dr. Watson.
This point is very casually flashed out in a very simple classroom scene.
This is an exciting thriller with a cool mix of romance.
The background music and songs are real condiments to the romantic sequences portraying the blossoming love.
lovely lyrics!
A pleasant mix of thrill and romance!
Can I call it a delicious cocktail of hot ice cream?
Oxymoron?
But the movie was really melting..err… moving fast!
Both tracks are twined logically and they are swiftly unfolding but without losing the coherence. The hero winning a turnaround impression on his girl in a library is one of the intelligent pieces in the story line.
Can this movie be classified in the genre of Bharadhiraja's ‘tik tik tik’?
Jayaprakash, the producer turned actor is indeed a stellar player after his master performances in ‘pasanga’ and ‘pannayarum padminiyum’.
As it is commented, the story has a mild trace of John Grisham’s ‘The Firm’.
Highly professional handling of screenplay.
Dialogues are intelligent, resourceful and efficiently trimmed.
But what language is this word ‘thegidi’ from....?

Pannayarum padminiyum:

A vintage car turns into a key character in the story!

The provocative title is perhaps deliberate! A mischievous mislead!
But a master story telling simply by powerful characterization.
And the story?
The process of establishing the characters itself makes out a fine story!
The romantic song, ‘onakkaha porandhaenae…….’ is so captivating in lyrics, composition and above all by its picturization.
This decent song is a jewel in this film.
Subtle expressions and communications of a matured love are so beautifully portrayed.

The subtleties show the depths and strength of the understanding and bonding.
Real love matures with advancement in age.
This song epitomizes such true love.
Undoubtedly one of the best works in Tamil cinema.

Kai po che:

A contemporary literature in animation.
One of the popular novels of Chetan Bhagat - the neo interlocutor of the present generation educated urban youth of the country - turned into a movie. The second one after 'Three idiots' I guess. The novel is 'Three mistakes of my life'.

I have never seen the background music so enchanting and so easily and so inseparably melting into the story line.
May I call this soundtrack as vignette notes?
This film is a celebration of Indian youth.
It’s a Celebration of friendship and a tribute to their entrepreneurial spirit and unpolluted values.
Well researched.
Imagination is more powerful than mere knowledge.

Pre-conceiving a scene in mind is the exceptional role of a director.
It is evident that strenuous research has gone into each frame of this film.
However, on the other hand,
is it not, cricket has gone into our national blood?
I have watched kids playing hockey on the streets of Palayamkottai which was once a popular hockey hub. And I have witnessed hockey being driven out of the streets and grounds. The changeover is now almost complete. Cricket has supplanted hockey and eclipsed rest of the sports in Palayamkottai. Perhaps like any other locality?
Whether lack of infrastructure is the reason behind the vicarious enjoyment of cricket by masses?
Or whether the commercial prop up is the reason behind the reach of cricket?
The chicken or the egg?
